Raffia Tiled Black Plate Medium

These handwoven plates make great wall decorations especially when grouped with others in different sizes, patterns and colours.

They are given to celebrate major life events such as wedding and births, and therefore represent a symbol of wealth , family and life. Each pattern has its own meaning and each basket woven increases the hopes and the chances for a better life for the weavers, and allows the artisans to have a brighter future.
