Oyster Platter

This large oyster or shell food serving platter is from "Chantilly Longchamps", a French earthenware with green and white slip decorations, often topped with a glossy finish. The design has indentations for oysters and a space for a lemon, reminiscent of seafood services. The decorations are Rococo, with braided and shell motifs.
