These plates originate from the renowned Sarreguemines pottery founded in 1784 in Alsace. In the latter 19th century, they introduced domestic items featuring relief decorations of leaves, vines, and fish.
The plates are part of a rare collection distinguished by handpainted maroon accents on the head and tail.
All the pieces are vintage, and unique.
